Starcraft II has arrived

Today is the launch day of StarCraft II.
One of the most anticipated games of the year, StarCraft II is Blizzards sequel to one of the most popular Strategy games of all time. If you are a fan of the original StarCraft game, then getting this sequel is probably on the upper part of your to-do list. The game is available for US$60 (PhP3,500 in Datablitz Manila).

Inside the box are the basic stuff: the game DVD itself, the story manual (which refreshes you on what happened in the last game), and some free trial passes you can give to friends.

If you pre-ordered you can also get this Terran Raider metallic dog tag

The game is subtitled "Wings of Liberty", part I of the StarCraft II trilogy which will play out the 3 factions of the StarCraft universe, namely Terran (us earthlings), Zerg, and Protoss. Although you will be able to play as all 3 factions in the multi-player section of the game, the campaign of part I is focused purely on the Terran side. You will also be able to play online via Battle.net for free, and be able to choose any of the 3 factions.
Is it a wise choice to break it into a trilogy? We'll see.

For now, Time to shake off the rust and get back into the Strategy action. See you in Battle.net.

  1. Great game, often playing with friends on weekends. Recently, a championship in Europe, it was exciting to watch it. I found a good resource https://cybbet.com/games/sc2, where he was able to capitalize on this money. I am waiting for a new league that would earn money and buy a car.
